Tinsley, Hannah


b. January 27, 1811, in Kentucky; d. February 23, 1867. In April 1832, Hannah Taylor married Seth Tinsley. In 1850, the Tinsleys lived in Sangamon County and had three children. In 1860, they still lived in Sangamon County and had five children. Hannah Tinsley was the daughter of John Taylor, Sangamon County's first sheriff, and the sister of Ann Hurst, Jane E. Kreigh, and Margaret Taylor.
